Sporting Clube de Portugal is renowned not only for its rich history and sporting achievements but also for its passionate and dedicated fanbase. The club boasts approximately 179,208 affiliated members (sócios) as of June 2025, the most prominent sports clubs in Portugal.

Being a sócio of Sporting CP offers individuals the opportunity to actively participate in the club’s governance and enjoy various benefits. Members have the right to vote in club elections, access exclusive events, and contribute to the club’s decision-making processes. This system fosters a strong sense of community and ownership among supporters.

Juve Leo (Juventude Leonina)
Founded in 1976, Juve Leo is one of the oldest and most influential ultras groups supporting Sporting CP. Known for their vibrant presence in the stands, they are recognized for their coordinated chants, banners, and unwavering support for the team. Their emblem, featuring the number “76,” signifies their founding year and is a symbol of their deep-rooted connection to the club

Directivo Ultras XXI (DUXXI)
Established in 2002, Directivo Ultras XXI is another prominent ultras group within Sporting CP’s fan community.
